In September, the Niagara Association of REALTORS® listed 1457 residential properties compared to 1366 in September 2023.
The average days it took to sell a home in September 2024 was 44 days, a 18.9 % increase from September 2023.
The lower interest rates have given people confidence in the market again which can be seen in the 30% increase of sales compared to September 2023. We are still experiencing a Buyer’s market, giving people the chance to take their time to find the perfect home and showing the importance for Sellers to have their house priced accordingly.
